With a divorce, what you’re doing is you’re dissolving a legally recognized marriage. What an annulment does is says, “There is no legal marriage here,” so we are making it an annulity or we’re voiding this process whatsoever. One is dealing with a legal entity, and the other one is saying, “This was never legal at all.”
